What is Aquafinesse

AquaFinesse itself is NOT a santiser but works by eliminating biofilm, thus massively reducing the colonisation possibilities for bacteria. Without this self-made shelter for protection they can be simply destroyed by using a very small amount of sanitiser.

Fresh bacteria introduced via bather load, pollution etc., are swiftly gathered up by the AquaFinesse formula and deposited into the filter system where the sanitising tablet destroys them. (A good working ozone system will do a similar job, although because they can be temperamental and unreliable we do recommend that customers use the sanitising tablets or granules provided)

AquaFinesse’s patented formula not only breaks down Biofilm but calcium also!! Both are prevented from reforming whilst the customer continues with the AquaFinesse water treatment.

BISHTA who are they?

BISHTA – the British and Irish Spa and Hot Tub Association – is a member of BSPF, the British Swimming Pool Federation.

• BISHTA exists to promote high standards of safety, enjoyment and value, by registering suppliers of spas, hot tubs, accessories and water purification products.
• Those who satisfy BISHTA’s entry requirements are invited to become members.
• BISHTA members follow strict guidelines in spa and hot tub safety and trading practices.
• They have personnel trained in water hygiene and treatment.
• They are committed to observe the BISHTA standards and Code of Ethics.
• They have the back up of BISHTA technical advice and help in the unlikely event of a dispute.
• Look for the BISHTA logo – only members are allowed to display it.
• This Bishta Committee meets regularly thoughout the year to disucss matters relevant to spas and hot tubs and to determine and new applications for Bistha membership .

They are a death trap. They are unstable, slippy, often collapse and give you sp[linters. However they look in the show room never have them. They are only made out of off cuts and scrap. Plus the Chinese’s ones are made out of varnished deal; utterly useless.
