Is the Importer Still in Business?

There has never been a more dangerous time to buy a spa with many of the heavily advertised companies out there dropping like flies. We have seen this before, but spa buyers have not, so lets have some warning facts from those in the know. Companies are not letting consumers know their true trading position with many not (as the law requires) clearly posting the fact that they are in administration. This is a criminal offence

So lets have post on what is going on....
I think consumers should always do a little bit of research:
A little surfing on the web and a few phone call is all that it takes:
1. How long has the distributor been trading? (under the same name)
3. Do they carry spare parts in UK?
4. Call up the factory in USA and simply ask how the UK business is going
5. See if the distributor is supporting their dealers.
6. Make sure the dealer is not a one-man band importing his own tubs himself.
6. By calling the factory, you can at least weed out the Chinese tubs.

These are just a few basic steps that I would take.
The best advice is

Never Never Never buy over the internet
Never Never Never buy from a salesperson in your home, you loose all your rights !

Always Always Always go and look at what you are buying even better try it
Always Always Always mistrust offers that are too good to be true

Spa crooks rely on your greed and you not doing the above, or you just being stupid !
Once again rumours abound about a company in Portsmouth

Has anyone any firm and fair information on this.
