Questions are
Whats are the spas like
What is the delivery and service like
What is the make they are selling
It would be helpful to hear from people who have bought and from retailers selling these spas.

Giles - They are not - You should
I dont know if the company Spaserve has anything to do with Trade Price Hot Tubs but I would like mention a customer who came to me this weekend complaining about Spaserve.
It seems the customer had paid £4,995 in advance (through the Spaserve web-site by debit card)to this company for a tub with stereo, DVD player TV, delivery and after many months of waiting, no tub has been delivered after countless re-arranged delivery dates. He is now pursuing a full refund through his solicitor but fears this may take a few months. Naturally there could be more frustrated cutomers out there who have also suffered. How can anyone expect to get a quality hot tub with all those extras for such a low price?
I asked him if he had visited the company and seen the product for himself, but it seems there is no showroom to visit - it is a web-based company.
Spaserve, firstchoice hot tubs, tubsales and trade price hot tubs are all one and the same. You say that they are the biggest seller of hot tubs in the UK this is simply not true. Ask them what showrooms you can visit, you could try the london address but it is just a mailbox at the side of a building. They do not have any dealers so you wont get any answers on here from them. They used to be called Insparations until they featured on Watchdog and apparently they are now under investigation by ITV according to another thread i read recently.
They also run the website spareviewcentre.com and obviously they give their own tubs excellent reviews. On the home page at the bottom you will see the following "2008 Spa Review Centre Ltd" but in fact if you check with companies house there is no such Ltd company and this in itself is illegal.
This is just a small bit of background information on Trade Price Hot Tubs do you really want me to go on about the tubs they sell or is this enough for you to run a mile?
The following are all against the law
A website that claims huge discounts, typically 50%, from previous retail prices, but there is no evidence of these prices ever existing and they have not appeared on the website
Companies who claim to be selling at trade prices when in fact the company’s products are cheap copies made in China, so the prices of the products are not trade prices, but are the going rate for Chinese hot tubs
Companies that give the impression that its spas are American, when in fact they are much cheaper lower quality Chinese spas. This is like offering a car made in China at a low price, but quoting the price of a Mercedes and then saying your Chinese spa is at a trade price, all to make it look more competitive than it actually is.
Just write to the trading standards department of the company concerned.
Legend has it that a company in Chelmsford & Insparations had a bidding war on google with pay for click that bought them both to their knees as every time you click on a sponsered link that is googles name for an advert you cost that company £1.50 or even more crazy man big egos big losses, we are talking several 100K one went bust one was baled out !
Its like it costing them money every time you look at their advert in a paper, pay for click advertising is for new or desperate companies in spa world as it is mostly their competitors looking at their sites, mad, but kinda funny, if every one who sells spas click on one of these sites every day it must cost them loads of dosh

Are Spa Serve and Trade Price Hot Tubs connected ?
I don't think these two companies are linked as such, but often many retail and service companies work hand in hand giving sales and repairs etc, giving each other a glowing reference.
